Bel Canto Singers meets weekly from September to May on Tuesday evenings 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Scarborough Bluffs United Church, 3739 Kingston Rd. at Scarborough Golf Club Rd.

The choir welcomes experienced choristers, especially altos, basses and tenors. If you are interested in joining us, our next intake is in September 2026. You can attend a rehearsal on September 8 and/or 15, get a feel for the group, and audition. The audition will be arranged with Music Director Michael Morgan and requires no advance preparation.

For many, Bel Canto represents more than just music—it’s a community bound together by harmony, passion, and shared dreams. Our annual membership fee is $200. This fee helps to pay for music and other ongoing costs.
In addition, there is a one-time fee of $25 for your music folder. As long as you return the folder in perfect condition at the end of each season, you will never be charged again.
The choir is offering a youth membership for choristers under 35 years of age. This is available at a reduced fee of $100 for the season.
If you cannot afford the full cost of membership, you may apply for a reduction in fees thanks to a new fund the choir has established. To access this fund, contact Vice-President Linda Cahill at Linda.cahill@sympatico.ca.
